Reader thinks Murphy gets it

March 28, 2008

Dear Editor,

I have read the letter to the paper in the March 13 addition and I believe that Mr. Murphy has a much better understanding of the needs of the local tax payers than the township manager to some of the other members of the council.

I sat through some of the meetings on the garbage contract and heard the township manager answer and I can tell you his answers were so far off the mark if I were a council member I would recommend that he work on his resume because he would soon need it. I have worked in sales all of my time after college and much of that time selling capital equipment that cost between $200,000 and $11,000,000 and If I gave my customers the answers the township manager gave I would not sold any equipment. The answer is not “we will work that out after the contract”

The town should try the (KISS METHOD) most people would be happy.

Regards
